The operation consists of two concentrators, crushed-ore leach pad and stacking system, a low-grade run-of-mine (ROM) leaching system; four SX plants; and three EW tank houses that produce copper cathode.Morenci is a unique company town where our employees and their families can reconnect with nature through hiking, fishing, camping, hunting and numerous parks. Responsible for ensuring excellent quality of food service and positive guest experience.Greets guests, takes orders, and delivers food and beveragesMakes alcoholic drinks for the dining rooms and to serve customers in the bar area; checks identificationBalances cash receiptsCleans glasses, utensils, and bar equipmentPerforms portioning and inventory control to prepare a variety of foods, garnishes and all ingredients required for preparing dishes on the menuDishwashingRegisters guests, assigns rooms, collects payments and answers the phoneMaintains the cleanliness and appearance of the Hotel and RestaurantDelivers service items to guest roomsPerforms other duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum QualificationsMust be able to obtain Arizona Food Handler's Card/Certification within one (1) month of employmentMust have effective verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in the operation of a personal computer to include Microsoft applicationsResponsible for total guest experience and satisfactionMultitasking in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment requiredAbility to interact positively with the public essential to successPreferredHigh School diploma or GEDPractical experience as a Line Cookorcompletion of a post-secondary Culinary Arts training programortwo (2) years of experience in Food PreparationCriteria/ConditionsAbility to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in EnglishAbility to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standardsMust be able to work in a potentially stressful environmentThese responsibilities require the ability to walk for extended periods of timeAbility to climb stairs, ladders, lift up to fifty (50) lbs or more, kneel, push, pull, reach, bend, twist, and stoop on a frequent basisAbility to work in all types of environments to include noise, exposure to extreme temperatures and humidityWilling and able to work a 12-hour shift schedule or other shift as assignedAbility to share job responsibilities and be flexible with work schedule and start timesAbility to participate in a high performing team environmentAbility to communicate and interact with other teamsMust attend alcohol training class and understand the law, rules and regulations for the State of ArizonaMust attend training class for safe food handling proceduresFreeport-McMoRan promotes a drug/ alcohol free work environment through the use of mandatory pre-employment drug testing and on-going random drug testingWhat We Offer YouThe estimated pay range for this role is currently$15.00 - $19.00/hour.This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
