EOE Position Information:
The Mental Health Tech I provides direct patient care and management of patients with medical and behavioral issues under the supervision of a Clinical Nurse by performing patient care services crisis intervention therapeutic interactions and milieu management. The Mental Health Tech I utilizes non-violent verbal and physical techniques to de-escalate patients and ensure safety.
Experience Requirements:
1 Year Clinical - Related Area Required - And 1 Year Clinical - Mental Health Preferred
Education Required:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required - And College Courses Nurse Aide Required
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Nurse Aide I Required - And Crisis Prevention Institute Certification Preferred
Hours of Work:
12 Hours Per Pay Period
Weekend Requirements:
As Needed
Call Requirements:
As Needed
