We are currently accepting applications for the position of, Human Service Worker (HSW) to provide mental health support services to individuals at our Intensive Residential Treatment program (IRT).
IRT is a residential care/treatment program to help adults with chronic mental illness by providing resources, services, and support in a positive environment as an alternative to psychiatric hospitalization. It is a 16-bed, unlocked residential facility serving both men and women. IRT is staffed 24-hour, 7-day a week.
An HSW functions as a mentor/behavior technician who is responsible for the well-being of our clients. On our team, their role would be to establish rapport with the clients, offer encouragement and support while teaching Adult Daily Living Skills, prepare and serve meals, and de-escalate crisis situations.

Schedule: On-call
Compensation: $15.62 - $19.79 per hour (depending on experience) Additional compensation available for Spanish speakers, after testing proficiency. Essential Functions: (Performs all or some of the following)
Provides one-on-one assistance and support Provides client supervision Assists with instructional and activity planning Manages crisis situations Teaches independent living skills Documents client behaviors Participates in staff and peer review meetings Assists with document reviews Monitors client behaviors and reaction to medications Assists to distribute medications Assures safety of the clients See included link for the full job description Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and one (1) year post high school education in social work, psychology or a related field and one (1) year of general work experience, or an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Ability to drive center vehicles, as needed
