This is a position to help grow our club by working in a creative, fun and upbeat atmosphere where every day is different.Member Experience ManagerAn Anytime Fitness Member Experience Manager (MXM) is responsible for helping all members "Make Healthy Happen." The MXM serves as a 'guidance counselor' to all members of the club, 'educator and mentor' for all training staff, and 'strategist' for owner/manager. The MXM's ultimate role is to manage the entire club. The position will be in charge of the entire club. The MXM will be responsible for handling the Member Onboarding Process which includes contacting the propect, touring the prospect, selling coaching packages, conducting the fitness consultation, determining the right combination of personnel and tools for each member, and managing the customer experience to ensure meaningful touch points for the lifetime of the member.What we offer:Robust compensation plan which will include base salary and a monthly percentage pay of all membership and training revenuePTO and holiday payFuture career opportunities within multiple Anytime Fitness locationsResponsibilitiesFollow up on sales leads and build a pipeline of prospective new membersDeliver pre-designed workouts to groups of 4+ membersProgram and implement individualized workouts for membersEnergize and motivate members throughout the sessionsBuild fitness attendance and retain current members/clientsComplete fitness evaluations/consultations on all new members and training clientsPrescribe and sell personal training packagesEnsure safety of participants utilizing heart rate and exercise techniquesProvide options and challenges for specific exercises to accommodate various skill levelsAttend weekly/monthly fitness staff meetings and required educational presentationsSupport manager in membership sales and handle member concernsSupport manager and cleaning staff in maintaining club cleanliness and overall operations of the gymMaintain all personal training clients' and prospects' information by tracking, uploading, and updating progress in Club-OS daily to better service their needsFollow up with personal training prospects, obtain referrals/leads from current members and prospectsAchieve monthly sales, lead/referral, and fitness consultation goalsCreate a positive club culture by developing relationships with members, providing educational training/eventsPromote club culture and the club by using social media (the ability to market and post on Facebook, Instagram, etc.)Provide exceptional member service on all levelsActively participate in community-sponsored events and other outside opportunities to promote the clubNetwork within the fitness industry and other outside industries to drive recognition and interest in the clubGive tours to prospective member and enrolling prospects after tour processProvide good member service to members and prospective members and assist in resolving issues that arise.All other duties as assignedBe a team playerQualificationsCurrent CPR, AED and personal training certification(s) are required as is a current nationally recognized certification such as NASM or ACEPrevious PT experience is required in either a fitness facility or private training environmentPrevious sales experience in the fitness industryExperience managing a successful teamPrevious experience with fitness club management software (Club O/S, Club Ready, apps like My Fitness Pal all a plus)Desire to be in sales and willing to call prospects and market our club and membershipSuperior communication skills (verbal & written) with the ability to connect with people while motivating them to achieve their goalsEmpathy and compassion and wanting to motivate and help membersMust be willing to complete sales training and ongoing sales trainingExcellent communication and customer attention skillsMust be able to safely lift and move up to 50lbs and work in a gym settingBENEFITSCompetitive base salary ranging $35,000 - $45,000 based on experience with opportunity to earn unlimited sales commissions.Opportunity for growth & development within the company.Health Benefits - HRA for qualified employees.Paid Time OffHoliday Pay* 401KTuition assistance to obtain NASM Personal Training CertificationUniforms provided, fitness casual dress codeGym membershipThis is for the experienced fitness professional who is certified and wants to coach and lead a team.
