UHS's Atlantic Region CBO seeks a talented Medicare Billing Manager who is eager to contribute their expertise and pursue a rewarding career. 
The primary responsibility of the Billing Manager is to manage all activities of the billing department, including but not limited to: Billing of Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial accounts as defined by policy and procedure in accordance with rules and regulatory requirements specific to each payer. 
Directly responsible for assuring staffing levels are maintained through interviews and training. 
Assists CBO departments with the resolution of billing issues and directs work assignments in all areas of billing to assure timely completion of work.
Key Responsibilities include: Manage all third party billing to assure timely and appropriate completion. Maintain compliance with billing policies and procedures.
Counsel staff with productivity, work, and other disciplinary issues. Resolve issues associated with the billing between other internal departments of the CBO or external departments of the facilities served.
Monitor productivity standards and direct staff in meeting the defined departmental goals and objectives. Review daily, weekly and monthly reports with activities associated with billing. Interview and make recommendations to hire new employees.
Mentor and coach staff by providing on-going training as necessary to assure communication of common issues/concerns.

Understanding of payer claims processing philosophies. Understands complexity of start up operations and project management to assure proper allocation of resources. Must possess the ability to work effectively with payors, patients, clinicians, providers and other employees. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and others as required.
