Ansible Government Solutions is recruiting Medical Support Assistants to support the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System.Multiple shift schedules are available.MSA performs a full range of duties related to healthcare services.

Responsibilities
• Independently performs a full range of duties related to healthcare services in an inpatient or outpatient setting.• Responsible for answering phones, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and relaying messages.• Performs computerized data entry and uses information processing systems.• Maintains knowledge of medical terminology to communicate clinical staff instructions to patients.• Performs moderate physical activity, including lifting up to 15 lbs and some walking.
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.• One year of post-secondary education is preferred but not required.• Six months of clerical or office experience is required.• Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach during the work shift.• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and carry up to 40 lbs.• Ability to push/pull with 30 lbs of force.
