As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Medical Director/Nurse Practitioner to lead our medical team and contribute to the success of our growing practice.
Key Responsibilities: Medical Leadership: Provide strategic direction and oversight for all medical aspects of the spa. Ensure compliance with medical regulations, standards, and best practices. Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement medical spa policies and procedures. Patient Care: Conduct consultations with clients to assess their aesthetic and wellness needs. Perform non-surgical aesthetic procedures such as injectables, laser treatments, and other advanced therapies. Develop personalized treatment plans and educate clients on recommended services. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the spa's aesthetic and wellness team to create a seamless and integrated patient experience. Provide training and mentorship to medical and support staff. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment. Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest standards of safety and quality in all medical procedures. Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes and adjust treatment plans as needed. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and results. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Qualifications and Experience: Licensed Nurse Practitioner with a focus on aesthetics and cosmetic procedures. Proven experience in a patient-facing role, within a medical spa setting. Strong knowledge of non-surgical aesthetic procedures, including injectables and laser treatments. Leadership experience and the ability to inspire a medical team. Attention to detail and the ability to maintain client confidentiality. At least two years' related experience required. Strong business acumen with a track record of driving revenue growth and operational excellence. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards for medical spa operations. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and achieving outstanding results. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed. Physical Requirements: Mobility: Must be able to move around the medical spa facility and treatment rooms with ease. Ability to stand for extended periods during patient consultations and procedures. Dexterity: Proficient hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills for performing precision-based aesthetic procedures. Ability to handle and manipulate medical equipment and tools with accuracy. Vision: Clear vision and color perception for assessing skin conditions and performing aesthetic treatments. Visual acuity to examine and interpret detailed medical records and charts. Hearing: Adequate hearing to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Ability to discern subtle changes in patient feedback during consultations. Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills to interact with patients and team members. Clear and concise written communication skills for documenting patient information and treatment plans. Strength and Endurance: Sufficient physical strength to perform injections and other aesthetic procedures. Endurance to manage a full schedule of patient appointments throughout the day. PPE Compliance: Capability to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during patient interactions and procedures. Infection Control: Adherence to strict infection control protocols, including proper hand hygiene and sterilization practices. Comfort with Technology: Proficiency in using medical equipment, electronic health records (EHR), and other technological tools relevant to the medical spa setting. Lifting: Ability to lift and carry necessary equipment and supplies, such as laser devices or treatment materials. Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust to the demands of a dynamic and fast-paced medical spa environment. Stress Management: Ability to handle the emotional and psychological aspects of patient care and cosmetic procedures, maintaining a calm and reassuring demeanor.
