Responsibilities
• Maintain compliance with regulations and guidelines• Greet, register, instruct, and discharge patients• Obtain and record patient information• Verify insurance eligibility and relay information on payment policies• Collect co-pays, deductibles, and past due balances• Retrieve and fax/mail medical records• Answer telephone and provide clerical support• Adhere to core values of teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care, and friendliness• Maintain positive work atmosphere• Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Medical office experience and familiarity with medical terminology preferred• Ability to work independently and in a high-pressure environment• Detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal communication skills• Outgoing and compassionate attitude• High School Diploma or equivalent
