As a Medical Technologist, you will play a crucial role in our diagnostic laboratory, ensuring accurate and timely testing and analysis of patient samples. Your expertise will contribute to accurate diagnoses, treatment plans, and patient care. This position offers a unique opportunity to utilize your skills in a supportive and collaborative environment, making a real difference in the lives of our patients.Qualifications: - Registered MLT/MT with valid credentials (ASCP, NCAMLP, AMT, ASMT or equivalent) or eligible within six (6) months. - Proficient in operating laboratory instruments and interpreting results. - Effective communication skills with patients, medical staff, and customers. - Capable of catering to patients of all ages and understanding their needs and limitations. - Familiarity with laboratory policies and procedures. - Self-motivated with the ability to work within set guidelines. Responsibilities: Perform various laboratory tests, such as hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and immunology, following established procedures and protocols. Analyze and interpret test results, ensuring accuracy and quality control. Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, troubleshoot issues, and perform preventive maintenance. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, providing expertise and insights to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment. Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized laboratory workspace. Stay updated with the latest advancements in medical technology and contribute to process improvements.
