Medical Laboratory Technician for Medical Center

Position: Medical Laboratory Technician
Location: Round Rock, Texas
Responsibilities:
* Conduct routine laboratory procedures with precision and accuracy, ensuring minimal margin for errors.
* Sort, label, and record patient specimens efficiently and accurately.
* Set up specimens, materials, and equipment in preparation for Medical Technologists to perform tests.
* Operate laboratory equipment including centrifuges, simplex timers, and cell washers to complete assigned duties.
* Maintain appropriate inventory of supplies, ensuring availability for uninterrupted workflow.
* Foster effective communication and maintain positive working relationships with laboratory personnel, other disciplines, and external customers.
* Participate in laboratory projects and educational activities to enhance knowledge and skills.

Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM shifts.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation: $17 to $26 per hour, commensurate with experience.
