The Medical Claims Processor will actively support our healthcare client by processing and/or adjusting typical and non-typical healthcare claims and appeals.
Responsibilities :
Perform extensive research to process and/or adjust healthcare claims and appeals Use multiple healthcare-related operating systems and tracking tools simultaneously Occasionally encounter non-typical healthcare claims Actively utilize critical thinking skills to determine when to seek advice or escalate issues Basic Qualifications :
High School Diploma or GED 1 year of professional work experience with solid tenure in each role High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook Strong computer proficiency focusing on multiple systems input Excellent critical thinking skills with the ability to make decisions regarding the decision to pay or deny claims Excellent reading comprehension due to the high volume of data required to complete the claims process

Bachelor's Degree in Science or related field
