Responsibilities
• Assist with screenings, treatments, and tests• Update health maintenance and medication information• Monitor and communicate changes in patient condition• Administer specific medications under provider's direction• Maintain equipment and supplies• Assist in pre-visit planning• Perform administrative duties• Other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Graduate from an approved Medical Assisting Program• Military training in related field may be considered• Current clinical proficiency and completion of externship• MA Certification preferred• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required• Critical thinking skills and ability to work with minimal supervision• Physical requirements include manual dexterity and extended periods of standing
