Responsibilities
• Rooming patients and assisting with procedures• Recording control logs• Checking in / out patients• Scheduling appointments and insurance referrals• Performing wound checks and suture/staple removal• Collecting and handling specimens• Administering injections• Inserting/removing catheters• Performing impotence testing• Reviewing and calling patients• Performing general clerical duties• Checking in and out patients• Performing related work as required
Requirements
• Knowledge of Back-Office procedures• Skill in operating practice management systems• Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions• Ability to handle stressful situations• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships• Front office experience in a medical practice• Bilingual is a plus• High School Diploma or GED• Certified Medical Assistant or ABR-OE from AAMA a plus
