Summary
TPN is looking for a Media Planner who will support day-to-day process of all shopper/retail media planning and buying efforts for key clients. They must be able to work independently, present to clients confidently, and understand digital media planning/buying from strategy to activation. Core Accountabilities Develop and execute strategic shopper media plans Maintain a deep understanding of client business goals and objectives, knowledge of the digital media landscape, inclusive of retail media ecosystems Supports and/or leads day-to-day client media interactions such as status meetings, recommendation presentations and reporting calls Manage all aspects of the media plan execution including ATBs, insertion orders, tracking development and implementation, billing and reporting Evaluate various media partners and proposals Work with vendors to ensure proper delivery, billing, and performance of campaigns Assist in developing insightful media recommendation decks and campaign performance reports Continually communicates with Media Supervisor and/or Account Leadership about project status, campaign updates, or related changes Seeks out developmental opportunities and actively participates in agency and professional training initiatives while keeping a pulse of the overall media marketplace Core Skills & Requirements Bachelor's degree and 3+ years agency media planning/buying experience required Previous experience in retail marketing and CPG experience preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, Powerpoint) Understands planning and execution of retail/shopper media with emphasis on key channels including: Mass and Grocery Knowledge in digital media planning and buying mechanics – broadcast, print, audio and OOH a plus Digital planning and execution may include programmatic digital, publisher direct, streaming media, retail media, etc. Experience with retailer media such as (WMC, KPM, Roundel) is preferred Experience with media planning/buying and analytics tools (MRI-Simmons, DCM/IAS, MediaRadar, etc) preferred Positive, energetic attitude Detail oriented, organized and resourceful Strong multi-tasking ability, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams to achieve KPI's and hit deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a team in-person and remotely Flexibility to work extra hours with little or no advance notification Ability to interact on a daily basis with clients, media vendors, internal teams, and finance Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Job Status
