Responsibilities
• Function as lead engineer on small to medium scale projects• Produce project documents such as drawings and specifications• Lead construction phase activities for mechanical department• Perform engineering calculations and design systems• Manage project scope and communicate with clients• Ensure technical sufficiency of project deliverables
Requirements
• Bachelors or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering• 6+ years of experience with 2 years with PE/stamping drawings• Professional License in Mechanical Engineering required• LEED AP certification preferred• US Citizenship with ability to obtain Top Secret security clearance• Great attitude and team player• Successful completion of background screening process• Some travel may be required
Key Skills Needed
• Mastery of primary production tools and calculations• Understanding of design process and project experience• Knowledge of mechanical HVAC and plumbing disciplines• Client-facing and business development skills• Coordination and communication with architects and engineers• Ability to manage project cost and ensure constructability• Building trusted relationships and delivering high-quality results• Proactive learner and ability to provide direction to less senior staff
