Discover your exciting roleThe Mechanical Engineer Intern participates in a team environment consisting of engineers and designers to produce construction documents for the following systems: HVAC wet/dry, plumbing, controls and the like. 
Explore your tasks and responsibilitiesWill "shadow" Engineers on various Mechanical design build assignments. Perform simple calculations, aid in various analyses, and assist with Mechanical engineering computing software Assist in the coordination of project personnel activities to help insure project progresses remain on schedule. Assists in performing engineering tasks for the design of utilities and HVAC (wet/dry) systems for high technology facilities including cleanrooms, general manufacturing/process facilities and institutional facilities  Assists in providing specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise  Other duties as assigned  Show your expertisePursing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field required At least a 3.0 GPA preferred Must be at least in Junior year of college Prior experience as an intern in a project team environment preferred Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Familiarity with construction drawings and specifications is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Eagerness to learn and contribute to the success of the team.
