Position: Mechanical Engineer 4, Location: Mossville, IL - Hybrid Duration: Fulltime Position's Contributions to Work Group: Support engineer providing design and detailing for generator and motor designs Typical task breakdown: CAD design and detailing Teardown follow-up and analysis Research, design, develop, manufacture, and test tools, engines, machines and other mechanical devices. Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals to determine time and cost feasibility to complete projects. Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and make recommendation to maintenance crew. Assist drafters in developing the structural design of products using tools, equipment or software. Education & Experience Required: Bachelors degree in engineering required 5-7 years total engineering experience 3-5 years of detailing experience Master's Degree in engineering will be considered Technical Skills: (Required) Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD). CAD Detailing Excel computation Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports. (Desired) FEA analysis CFD analysis Soft Skills(Required) Strong communicator, both verbal and written Heavy initiative Analytical and problem solving ability Job Responsibilities: Research, design, develop, manufacture, and test tools, engines, machines and other mechanical devices.
