Responsibilities
• Utilize CAD software to design, develop, and test mechanical systems and components• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to find innovative solutions for engineering challenges• Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications for manufacturing and fabrication processes• Conduct research to stay up-to-date with latest advancements in mechanical engineering technology• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues during development and testing phases• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure successful production of designed components
Requirements
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field• Have at least 5 years of experience in designing tools for the oilfield industry• Demonstrate proven experience in mechanical design, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment• Possess proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks• Familiarity with CNC machining processes• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
