Position Overview Due to continued growth, Eaglestone Equipment is seeking a Mechanical Drafter. The Mechanical Drafter will use "state of the art" CAD equipment to prepare working drawings of machinery and mechanical devices, including its dimensions, fastening methods and other engineering information. Additionally, the team orientated individual will work with operations and help support the Engineering team.

To learn more about Eaglestone, visit the website at: Eaglestone.net. What is the Opportunity? This position reports to the Engineering Manager will perform duties as follows:
Uses CAD to create, check, and revise engineering drawings, program files, and documents Coordinates required details and any revisions with engineers and operations Creates drawing packages for customer use for installations or other purposes Follows all company design standards and processes Evaluates Engineering Change Requests (ECR), implement Engineering Change Orders (ECO), and create new standards & processes as required Meets project schedules/timelines and reports any issues to meeting deadlines to Engineering staff as soon as possible Works with Shop Floor and Design Engineering regarding any changes or issues that may arise Performs other duties as assigned What Benefits do we offer? Associate's degree or certificate in Mechanical Drafting is required 2+ years of related experience Must be proficient with 2D, and 3D CAD software (Autodesk Inventor preferred) Must have a strong understanding of, mechanical components, structural steels, manufacturing procedures, and industrial construction methods Experience with industrial construction/project management, millwrights, and material handling equipment is preferred Ability to work from schematics, blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions required Experience with mechanical conveying is a plus Ability to communicate and interface comfortably with engineering design team and Shop floor personnel Good judgement and problem-solving abilities Strong organizational and deadline orientation skills Flexibility to perform weekend work and some overtime as needed If you experience with CAD, looking for growth and seek a team orientated environment in growing organization, we would love to hear from you.
