What You'll Do 3D CAD and 2D drawings for stators, rotors and assembliesDriving choices and development in: winding technology, magnet technology, steel stamping and lamination joining, electrical insulation systems, interconnections, thermal sensingIdentifying and qualifying suppliers of raw materials, components, and assembliesDesign validation and durability testing profile development and data analysisCarry designs through to high-volume production: DFM, cost reductions, and second sourcingMentoring junior engineers and interns What You'll Bring Evidence of exceptional abilityTaken motor designs from clean sheet to volume productionExperience with multiple coil winding and termination technologiesExperience with multiple magnet technologiesWorked with an international supply chainAutomotive design and validation experienceExpected skills: GD&T, 3D CAD, 2D Drawings, DFMEA, PFMEA, structural and thermal FEABonus skills: Catia, NVH analysis, electromagnetics design, specification writing, plastic injection molding, bolted joint design Benefits

Expected Compensation
$80,000 - $300,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
