Volt is currently seeking a candidate for a Mechanical Assembly Technician to work in the controls department of a great company here in Albuquerque.
This is a full-time Temp to hire, $18-$20/hr. DOE. ** Weekly Pay **
The primary function of this position is to: Inspect, repair, install and maintain electrical/electronic systems such as control boxes for the product line.
Duties: Sub-Assembly of electronic components of control boxes (experience with 24 volt DC is preferred Hook-up of mechanics components, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems Occasionally assist the maintenance tech with plant maintenance and repair tasks. Other applicable duties that may arise Requirements: High school diploma or GED Minimum of six months related experience Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints & SOP's Strong hand eye coordination Ability to complete repetitive work Ability to be on your feet, bending, stooping, lifting and twisting throughout the day Must be able to use equipment to help lift miscellaneous parts Ability to Push, pull or drag suction hose on tanks that weight between 10 - 100 lbs. The schedule is Monday-Friday 6am-3:30pm but should be flexible during the weekdays as schedule may change with season/weather
