Westborough Country Club is a private member owned club in the desirable Kirkwood area just outside the city of St. Louis. The Club Membership is a tight knit authentic community with realistic expectations and graciously embrace and appreciate the staff. We have 425 golf Members, 19 families on the wait list and nearly 100 Social Members. Our dues revenue exceeds $3,000,000 and the Club is in excellent financial condition. We project we will have approximately $900,000 per year for Club improvements and equipment replacement.
The original course was an 18-hole Tom Bendelow design in 1907. For more information on the history of Westborough view our website. We are an 18-hole par 68 course, brilliantly designed to fit in our compact 75 acers. We have A-1 bent grass greens with Zoysia Tees, and Fairways with tee to green cart paths. Typically, the Club experiences 17,000 rounds of golf although this year we had nearly 31,000 rounds. The grounds staff consists of roughly 18 employees in season which includes a full time Horticulturist.
The ideal candidate must have demonstrated skills as a mechanic or assistant mechanic. Experience and a passion for progressive technology is required. Our Superintendent has been in his role for 25 years, is held in high esteem by the Club and well respected in the St. Louis District. He can provide his mechanic an excellent mentorship program to propel him or her to progress in the industry. Continuing education is valued at Westborough and we invest in those willing to learn.
The club has invested significantly in new equipment over the last several years although we still have many older pieces of equipment that must be maintained. 
The compensation package will competitive and depend on the experience of the chosen candidate.
