DescriptionTeam Fishel's Chandler, AZ office is lookingfor a skilled Construction Equipment Mechanic. A construction equipmentmechanic at Team Fishel is someone with experience in gasoline and dieselengines and heavy equipment. You must be able to work as part of a team, orunsupervised as needed.
Team Fishel specializes in utility construction and network installationservices with offices nationwide. Our Customers include broadbandcommunications providers, gas distribution companies, electrical utility companies,government agencies, commercial and residential developers, and generalcontractors.
Responsibilities: 1.Inspect vehicles andequipment for needed repairs; perform minor repairs as required
2.Perform generaloverhaul, tune-up and repair work on automobiles and related power drivenequipment.
3.Inspect, adjustand replace necessary units and parts including cooling, fuel and exhaustcomponents.
4.Repair andoverhaul brakes, ignition systems, electrical systems, transmission,differentials, and hydraulic systems; inspect, repair, overhaul and assembleautomotive electrical equipment such as generators, distributors, magnetos andstarters.
5.Determinerepair needs of estimate cost of repairs; perform occasional metal work bycutting and welding.
Requirements &Qualifications:
At least 3 years' experience in Preventative Maintenance and repair ofconstruction equipment including trucks, Backhoe, Trencher and HDD.
