Duties/Responsibilities may/may not be limited to the following: Job Scope: Work on equipment as needed Position Requirements: MUST HAVE VALID LICENSE AND CLEAN MVR Technical school education is a plus, but high school diploma or GED is required. Must be able to pass physical Must be able to pass drug screen Must be able to pass background check Required Skills : Hydraulic/Pneumatic experience preferred, but not necessary Strong technical aptitude Problem-solving skills Diagnostic skills Wide knowledge base MUST be able to use hand tools efficiently Job Duties/Responsibilities: Ideal candidate will be working on equipment Ideal candidate will inspect, keep up and repair diesel engines for company vehicle/equipment Ideal Candidate will be responsible for routine maintenance, such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and parts Follow a checklist of inspection procedures Must be able to understand the vehicles electrical system, engine, and all of its working parts. Repair or replace malfunctioning components, parts, and other mechanical or electrical equipment Test drive vehicles/equipment to diagnose malfunctions Test-drive vehicles/equipment to ensure that they run smoothly Maintain the work area clean, safe and organized. Assist in waste disposal and recycling activities. Mange house keeping activities when requested. Understand safety precautions associated with working in trenches and trench boxes. Comply with company policies and legal guidelines, helping to maintain a safe and orderly work environment Meet quality and performance requirements as outlined by quality assurance and production standards Report safety hazards, quality, and production issues to management immediately Physical Requirements : Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs Must have good endurance Will be required to bend, stoop, squat, crouch, kneel, and crawl to perform task Ability to work outdoors in harsh weather conditions Documents Required : Driver's License/Identification Card Social Security Card/Birth Certificate Must have reliable transportation Must be able to pass drug screen Must be able to provide own PPE (hard hat, steel toes, safety glasses, gloves) Pay : Starting at $17.00-$20.00 (DOE) Weekly Pay Pay schedule: Monday - Sunday Schedule : Monday - Friday (Weekends as needed)10-12 hour days (with weather permitting) Duration of Job: Temp to hire Tasks beyond those listed above will be asked of you, so a positive, can-do attitude is required.
