JR9388 Materials Supervisor, Evening Shift - The Toro Company Who Are We? The Materials Supervisor will facilitate and coordinate the receiving, warehousing and/or shipping of parts and finished product while assuring that the inventory accuracy is maintained. Ensure that all customer service and productivity requirements are met. Ensures day to day operations are fulfilled in an effective and consistent manner.

Work Location: This opportunity is on-site at The Toro Company, in Tomah, WI. Supervisor candidates should prepare for 5-days on-site for the majority of the schedule.
What Will You Do? In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for: 
Develop r esponsible for identifying training needs and implementing processes to support the efficient operation of the receiving, warehousing and or shipping departments. Provide for the development and training of employees.
Monitor cost center performance and maintain budgets within approved limits.
Plan daily departmental needs based on workload information & schedules. Controls manpower and overtime needs within schedule and budget constraints.
Responsible for creating an environment which values employees, serves our customers, and provides a fair return to owners.
Perform timely relevant performance evaluations which address employee performance. 
What Do You Need? The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements: 
2-6 years of experience in warehouse or distribution setting, of which 3+ years in a Material Supervisor capacity, or greater. Experience with leading evening shift strongly preferred.
Self-motivated with excellent project and time management skills.
Strong interpersonal skills – professional, courteous, friendly and helpful Strong process, problem solving and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to develop and maintain working relationships with internal and external customers.
Bachelor's degree preferred in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; will accept other degree with relevant work experience.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP) is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products, intermediate knowledge of Excel is required.
