Starting pay is $17.50Breeze is hiring- join us!Under the general direction of the Materials Supervisors, the Materials Specialist maintains the warehouse inventory, shipping, receiving, and transportation of materials. This person will be working with the Maintenance Department at the station to ensure adequate supply of material for aircraft maintenance and ensure material needs are met throughout the organization.Here's what you'll doResponsible for daily oversight of Material Stores and Line Material operationsOversee and problem-solve issues associated with inventory accuracy, parts issuing, shipping, receiving, stocking, material handling, and equipmentResponsible for warehouse operations of Technical and Non-Technical inventoryPerform data entry into the company inventory system to include locating, issuing, receiving, shipping of materials, warehousing of supplies, tools, and materialsCollaborate with Maintenance Operations Control (MOC) for movement of inventory, tooling, and special equipment for Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recoveryMonitor and update stock items, minimum and maximum stock levels, and coordinate stock level adjustments with Maintenance, Purchasing, and/or other departments within the companyPerform inventory audits, inspections, inventory reconciliations, and maintain compliance with the General Maintenance Manual (GMM)Work in conjunction with Maintenance and Quality departments to complete calibrated tooling, Shelf-Life audits, and replacements for monthly regulatory compliancePerform periodic receiving inspection functions as assigned to by Quality ControlPrepare Hazmat material shipments in accordance with International Air Transport Association (IATA) regulationsCoordinate with Engineering and Maintenance Planning to prepare fleet modification kitsOther duties as assigned by the Materials ManagerAchieve performance measures and adhere to established standards in conjunction with Breeze Aviation Group Values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity and ExcellenceHere's what you need to be successfulMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent educational achievementStrong technical and analytical background to provide TRAX, Excel, and other reportsMust possess a valid Driver's License and a driving record that meets Breeze Airways standardsAbility to drive company vehicles, trucks, forklifts, and other Ground Service Equipment (GSE)Pass Materials and the General Maintenance Manual (GMM) training coursesPass Dangerous Goods (DG) International Air Transport Association (IATA) course and maintain recurrent trainingPass ground shippingMust have authorization to work in the U.S. as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986Pass a ten (10) year background check and criminal history records check (CHRC)Must be at least 18 years of ageOrganizational fit for the Breeze culture, that is, exhibit the Breeze values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity and ExcellenceSelf-starter must have a positive attitude and strong desire for successBe able to read, write, speak and understand the English languageBe willing to work a 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift position including nights, weekends and holidaysPreferred Qualifications4-year degree in Business, Aerospace, or other relevant fieldTRAX (M&E) Inventory system experienceWarehousing or experience in a stockroom environmentSkills/TalentsExcellent communications skills, both verbal and writtenStrong presentation skills with the ability to communicate to LeadershipMust be able to handle high-stress situationsMicrosoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)24- hour operation may require holiday, weekend, overtime, or late-night workWell-groomed and able to maintain a professional appearanceAbility to comply and maintain Occupation Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standardsAbility to lift, carry, and move medium to heavy weights of 50 pounds or moreMust be able to climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop frequently in relatively confined spacesExemplifies Breeze's safety culture, values, and missionAbility to work with individuals and teams at all levels in the organizationPerks of the JobHealth, Vision and DentalHealth Savings Account with Breeze Employee Match401K with Breeze Employee MatchPTOTravel on Breeze and other Airlines too!
