Full job description We're glad you're exploring our Material Expediter position and want to share some of the details.
First, you will need a high school diploma or GED equivalent. We're looking for a candidate with experience in a material planning role or production environment.
Second, as a Material Expediter, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels used for stock replenishment through daily cycle counting activities for our Columbia City facility. You will communicate with scheduling departments to review excess stock information against open production orders, locate excess material, facilitate testing if needed, and stage material for production. As the Material Expediter, you will support the production scheduling function by allocating material and scheduling jobs that are being satisfied from excess or in-process material. Lastly, you will provide label maintenance and system support by addressing errors within the ERP system.
