Job Summary Follow standard work for material handling (e.g. receiving, shipping, warehousing.)Perform all activities in accordance with safety and quality rulesUse adequate equipment (forklift, tow train) to move materialRecords movements of material in the transactional records systems (e.g. receipt, booking.)Make proposals to improve safety, quality, efficiencyThis role may require specific accreditation to use specific handling equipment. The local job description must mentioned all necessary accreditation to use on site handling equipment.
Job Responsibilities The scope of this role will relate to the following APQC subjects:
Manage inbound material flowMonitor inbound delivery performanceReceive, inspect, and store inbound deliveriesTrack product availabilityPick, pack, and ship product for deliveryPrepare package and shipmentManage shipping, carriers, and fleetsAuthorize and process returnsPerform reverse logisticsPerform salvage activitiesManage and process warranty claimsLocate stock Prepare stock for movementPhysically move stock Maintain inventory status Perform physical inventory procedures Job Qualifications Required Qualifications
Must have 3+ years of driving experienceU.S. Person per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance and site SSA requirementsHigh School Diploma or G.E.D required Preferred Qualifications
Must have a working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems.Must have knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, inspection, and maintenance.Must be able to sit and remain alert while driving for an aggregate period of up to 8 hours.
