Material Coordinator Horicon, Wisconsin - Full Time Productive Resources () is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team at John Deere's facility in Horicon, WI. As a member of our team, the selected candidate will coordinate the flow of materials in multiple departments of the factory, which may include shipping and receiving. Ensure that the production personnel have the parts they need in order to produce the desired product(s). Oversee and ensure that the inventory is correct and on time and identify problems and make suggestions involving production schedules. Coordinate the activities for the tactical execution of a production plan within the factory. Work in larger and broader groups. May supervise or provide work direction to hourly material handlers, stock chasers, or truckers.
This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization.
Duties: Support production lines . Run critical shortage/stock out reports . Work with mfg facilities to get parts in . Work with supply chain; reviewing inventory . Work with Union/operations/supervisors . Supporting one production line . Work with inventory - process inventory documents . Running part shortage reports in SAP, following up on parts for production, running material reports and occasional ordering of parts . Requirements: Highly motivated . Strong work ethic . Should be able to manage multiple issues at a time . Strong communicator . Preferred Skills: 4-year degree preferred.
