Our company is seeking a dedicated Masonry Superintendent to join our team. If you're passionate about quality construction, safety, and integrity, and you have a strong background in masonry, this role is tailor-made for you. As our Masonry Superintendent, you'll represent our company in a positive and professional manner, maintaining excellent rapport with architects and owners. Your responsibilities will include reading and interpreting blueprints, wall layout, material management, and subcontractor coordination. You'll ensure the highest quality standards for all projects, focusing on safety and adherence to regulations. You will also play a pivotal role in budgeting and forecasting, obtaining invoice approvals, and ensuring the smooth flow of communication within the project team.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent the company positively and professionally, building and maintaining excellent relationships with architects and owners. Proficiently read and interpret blueprints. Demonstrate expertise in wall layout. Skillfully manage materials to optimize project efficiency. Effectively manage subcontractors and vendors to meet performance and scheduling milestones. Prioritize quality control across all projects. Participate in and facilitate various meetings, including trades meetings, pull meetings, and pre-installation meetings. Assist in identifying when Requests for Information (RFIs) or Change Orders (COs) are necessary, and track and inform subcontractors of responses and approvals. Maintain a strong focus on safety regulations, ensuring a safe and accident-free work environment. Possess a strong background in project budgeting and forecasting. Obtain necessary invoice approvals. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safety-oriented work environment. Hold a minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Possess a valid, state-issued driver's license. Demonstrate good interpersonal skills with a customer-service orientation, along with the ability to maintain confidentiality. Be technologically savvy. Be willing to work the necessary hours to achieve the best results within the construction schedule. Show a willingness to travel as needed. Why Join Us:
