SaveLive is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join our marketing team. Must be innovative, with an entrepreneurial spirit, and can thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, startup environment.
Create and maintain marketing budgets, adjusting as needed. Work with graphic designers to create and/or localize collateral. Book and account for all advertising and media ensuring spends are accounted to correct event. Prepare advertising settlements for each show. Work with internal stakeholders to provide post-show marketing analytics recaps to artists. Comfortably and intelligently buy media including, but not limited to, radio, TV, print, outdoor, and digital. Coordinate street team and grassroots marketing efforts with local market contacts. Develop and pitch promotions to media outlets. Contact radio and schedule radio time and set up giveaways. Negotiate rates and contracts with various media outlets. Buy ad space via the internet/aps (YouTube, Google, Yahoo, Pandora, Spotify, etc.) for artist-driven events as well as created content. Oversee, design, build, and maintain social media presence, research current trends, and apply current promotions. Run point for setting up account access with artists. Keep up with current social trends to ensure social strategy remains current. Develop ad copy; implement ad schedules to appeal to a specific demographic and target customer.  Craft, distribute and track press releases to media outlets. Supervise publicity, advance press interviews, and work with management, label, and public relations agencies to coordinate artist availability for event promotions as well as onsite coverage for day of show marketing needs supporting radio partners, meet and greets, guest lists, press photographers, and more. Work closely with partners in ticketing, sponsorship, F&B, private events, and other departments to assist in marketing where applicable, including promotions and programs.  Update venue website and in-venue marketing collateral to ensure show information is up to date. Work with internal and external partners to content is updated as necessary and represented accurately. Oversee onsite activations to help drive name acquisition for future show marketing needs. Coordinate approvals and execution of promotional sweepstakes. Execute fan communication plans via email, social, and website. Other related tasks. WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING 3+ years of prior experience in event marketing experience within an entertainment, sports or public assembly facility setting Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to professionally present marketing concepts and strategies to artist management. Work well in a team environment Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while juggling multiple tasks.
