NEA is looking for a Growth Marketing Manager for MA and for MI. The ultimate success of the person in this position will be measured by both attracting new retail and wholesale customers and retaining our existing ones. This will be done through a mix of marketing and analytics. The ideal candidate has in-depth digital/social media marketing skills and experience, and is also experienced in using all the marketing tools (e.g. advertising, billboards, community engagement, experiential/event marketing, etc.) to ultimately drive increasing business visibility and our retail and wholesale customer base.

The ideal candidate will recognize the diverse nature of the role with the need for a blend of digital marketing, event management, and local marketing experience. The ability to think outside the box and create compelling, innovative campaigns that can drive foot traffic and online engagement will be crucial.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Social Media & Digital Marketing: Develop and manage online campaigns, manage social media platforms, and create engaging content that raises brand awareness and engagement.
Event Planning & Management: Develop, plan, and execute events that entice the community and encourage foot traffic to your facilities.
Community & Relationship Building: Engage with the local community and form partnerships with local businesses for cross-promotional activities.
Local Advertising: Implement local advertising campaigns, including traditional mediums like billboards, flyers, and mailers, to capture the attention of the local demographic.
Brand Presence: Ensure the brand is visible and actively engaged within the local community and online platforms.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Communication: Effective verbal and written communication is key.
Creativity: Developing unique, attention-grabbing campaigns and events.
Analytical: Ability to analyze the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
Organizational: Managing multiple projects, vendors, and stakeholders efficiently.
Attention to Detail: Ensure all work is mistake free and of an exceptional standard.
Collaborator/Team Player: Work in partnership with the retail store managers to drive foot traffic.
Negotiation: Ability to forge mutually beneficial partnerships with local businesses and vendors

Education and Experience:
College graduate, preferably with a focus in marketing/communications.
Minimum of 2+ years working in social media
Experience with brand activation preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Office and Social Media platforms.
Experience with Photoshop, InDesign, Canva a plus.
Experience with multimedia production/photography and videography experience a plus.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit, stand, stoop, twist, reach, stretch, walk, perform repetitive motions
Must be able to lift 25 lbs
