K-Designers - Marketing Manager (Direct Response) As a Marketing Manager (Direct Response), you will be responsible for partnering with the VP of Marketing to strategize, deploy, and analyze the media strategy for one brand, K-Designers, under the Great Day Improvements umbrella. You will need experience in direct response (lead generation) marketing and possess the ability to analyze data and make decisions and glean insights through data analysis. The Marketing Manager will track a number of key performance indicators (KPI's), including Cost per Opportunity (CPO), Response Rates, and Cost of Marketing (COM%), among others. This individual will be responsible for making recommendations on media strategy, with a focus on Print, Direct Mail, DRTV, Digital (PPC and Social) and Email marketing.
As the right candidate, you will be confident in your decision making and provide data-backed recommendations for the brand's media strategy. This role is responsible for being the on-site Marketing expert in the Sacramento office and will work closely with the Call Center Manager and the SVP to make decisions and troubleshoot areas of concern.
This position will be an individual contributor during the time of hire, but that may change as business needs shift.
· Partner closely with the VP of Marketing to strategize local media plans with a goal of effectively generating leads and revenue
· Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key metrics and performance indicators
· Understanding the "lifecycle of a lead" as it comes through the funnel. Track funnel metrics accordingly and identify areas of opportunity
· Continuously monitor results by market and help identify areas of growth and opportunity
· Have the ability to track campaign effectiveness through various marketing channels, including: Paid Social, PPC, Print, Direct Mail, DRTV, Radio, lead aggregator, email, and more
· Assist in the development of action plans/strategies to improve KPIs and drive a more efficient marketing plan
· Monitor response rates, track performance metrics, and conduct A/B testing to optimize campaign effectiveness
· Brainstorm and present solutions when goals and objectives are not being met
· Identify and collaborate with agency partners in the production and delivery of marketing and campaign materials
· Continually refine and enhance marketing initiatives using market research and data-driven insights.
· Collaborate with other brands within the GDI umbrella to align direct marketing efforts with broader organizational goals
· Ensure all direct response marketing activities comply with relevant regulations and best practices
· Manage spend to ensure efficiency of ROI
· Provide regular reports and updates to VP of Marketing; highlighting campaign performance and key insights
· Ability to analyze data and make decisions based on trends. A minimum of 5 years of direct response marketing experience is required
· Highly efficient in Excel, with the ability to complete advance functions
· Excellent organizational and leadership skills with a problem solving ability
· Strong attention to detail
· Minimum of 7 years of experience in Marketing and Media strategy, with a minimum of 5 years of Direct Response Marketing experience
· Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field. MBA/Master's degree a plus
