Internship Description CESA 6 is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Marketing Intern to assist in driving the success of multiple business units. Candidates are required to include a link to a digital portfolio showcasing knowledge of graphic design. (Include on Resume) Summary The Marketing Intern is a key member of the marketing department, responsible for crafting compelling content for our social media platforms, new website, and graphic design needs. This role offers hands-on experience in our HubSpot platform and graphic content creation in the Adobe Creative Suite and Canva. Essential Functions Content Creation Create and curate content for social media platforms and schedule posts for optimal reach. Collaborate with a graphic designer and videographer to produce engaging visual content. Design, develop, proof, and implement digital media content plans for email campaigns. Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop insightful thought leadership content, such as white papers, ebooks, case studies, success stories, articles, press releases, and more, to position the organization as an industry authority. Create and update website content, including text, images, videos, and other multimedia elements. Marketing Strategy Support the coordination of marketing events and initiatives. Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm ideas, execute campaigns, and analyze performance metrics. Optimize content for landing pages and lead capture forms to engage target audiences and accurately promote the agency. Ensure all content is accurate, current, and aligned with the organization's branding and messaging. In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices. Willingness to learn with social media management tools (e.g., HubSpot, Meta). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform strategy and decision-making.

Other Functions Assist with other agency projects as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Experience, Education, And/or Licensure Preferred current enrollment in either associate's or bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field. Familiarity with digital marketing, content marketing, social media, and other contemporary marketing methods. Relevant certifications, such as Google Ads or HubSpot Inbound Marketing, are desired. Excellent time management with the ability to manage schedules and meet deadlines Exhibit a high degree of confidentiality of sensitive information and process and handle confidential information with discretion Process-oriented Remain flexible to adapt to changes in the work environment Ability to set and meet high standards of customer service (internal and external) Exhibit a professional, businesslike appearance and demeanor Advanced computer skills, including e-mail, word processing, and spreadsheets Professionally represent the agency and public, private, and parochial school districts in interactions with staff, customers, vendors, and community Facilitate an overall work environment of mutual respect and collaboration Knowledge of and ability to follow standard filing procedures Work Environment WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to work in a professional and flexible office environment, with or without visual and audible distractions.
