Our Marketing and E-Commerce Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives and managing our e-commerce platforms to maximize online sales and brand visibility. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our digital presence and engaging with our target audience across various online channels, including our e-commerce website, third-party marketplaces (such as Amazon.com and eBay), social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.), email marketing, digital advertising, and more. Representing the Dodd Camera brand through attendance at both in-person and online events, as well as consumer trade shows will also be an important aspect of the role. Key Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day operations of our e-commerce platforms, including our doddcamera.com website, Amazon marketplace, and eBay marketplace to ensure smooth functionality, optimal performance, and a seamless customer experience. Identify ways to optimize the user experience of doddcamera.com, including catalog management, order fulfillment, customer service and support, layout and navigation, marketing, newsletter capture, etc. Collaborate with sales and purchasing teams to ensure quick and efficient distribution of information related to new product releases and promotions. Create and oversee digital advertising campaigns, including pay-per-click (PPC), display ads, social media ads, and email marketing, to effectively reach target audiences and achieve campaign objectives. Develop compelling content for digital channels, including website copy, blog posts, social media updates, and email newsletters, to engage audiences and drive brand awareness. Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and partners to support marketing and e-commerce initiatives as needed. Manage local affiliate marketing programs, community projects, ambassador programs, and other regional marketing objectives. Monitor product pricing and inventory levels; suggest ways to increase sell-through of both traditional and liquidation inventory via use of discounts, coupon codes and offers, and other means. Ensure prompt and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital marketing and e-commerce to recommend innovative strategies and tactics. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, E-Commerce, or related field preferred 2+ years of experience in the marketing or e-commerce field, with the ability to demonstrate prior work experience. Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (such as Magento, Shopify, and Amazon Marketplace), website analytics, SEO principles, and digital advertising techniques. Proficiency in using digital marketing tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and email marketing automation software. Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines. Knowledge of the photography industry and camera equipment is a plus.
