Job Description:
As the Marketing Director at our company, you will play a pivotal role in crafting, implementing, and executing marketing strategies to elevate our brand presence. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to bolster visibility, awareness, and positioning of our solutions, services, and products tailored for the government sector. Your responsibilities will include:
Marketing Responsibilities:
Spearheading the development, implementation, and facilitation of marketing strategies, activities, and policies.
Conducting market research to stay informed of industry trends, customer preferences, objectives, and competitor landscape.
Managing the marketing budget effectively.
Coordinating support for events and conferences, ensuring seamless delivery of marketing materials.
Collaborating with teams and vendors for conferences, trade shows, and other critical events.
Recommending marketing strategies to drive current and future growth.
Overseeing advertising campaigns and engaging in competitor research.
Promoting internal branding initiatives in collaboration with HR.
Establishing best practices and policies to maintain brand consistency across departments.
Collaborating with the Recruitment team to enhance branding strategies for attracting top talent.
Branding Responsibilities:
Executing brand strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Refining unique value propositions and maintaining visual brand identity.
Creating and executing marketing campaigns to drive brand message and engagement.
Monitoring brand equity and implementing strategies for enhancement.
Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure branding success.
Providing guidance on company swag purchases to ensure brand consistency.
Media Responsibilities:
Managing marketing library and knowledge repository.
Responding to press inquiries and developing marketing-related content.
Strengthening media presence nationally and locally.
Coordinating media requests for interviews and maintaining website and social media platforms.
Qualifications:
8-10+ years of experience in brand and marketing development.
Experience in the GovCon industry.
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field.
Proficiency in MS Office 365, WordPress, Adobe products, and social content platforms.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
Capability to lead and facilitate groups effectively.
Experience in preparing for vendor and technical conferences.
Desired Skills/Experience:
Self-starter with a passion for IT services and branding.
Experience working in technology environments.
