POSITION TYPE: Part-time (20 hours/week minimum)
LOCATION: 1000 Medical Center Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401 (on campus or hybrid remote schedule preferred)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: The Marketing/Communications intern will...
Create an engaging content calendar for social media content and execute posting schedules. Monitor social media interactions. Interview participants and transcribe interviews for blogs. Capture day-to-day content, including photos for social media and video for b-roll if/when on campus. Assist in event planning and execution. Help connect with donors including handwritten thank-you letters and draft templates for automated digital thank-you notes. Assist in potential donor prospecting as needed. Report to and collaborate with the Development Director on all marketing and communications initiatives. COMPETENCIES: Attention to detail. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Organized and able to work independently to meet deadlines. Shows initiative. Flexible; willing to do what's needed to get the job done. Comfortable navigating social media, Canva and/or Adobe, Google Drive and Microsoft Office Suite. Licensed driver, able to be in person at THPNC during designated work hours. Lift and/or move 30 pounds. Taste, hear, smell, see - including close and distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
