About the Role As a PayPal Paid Media Marketing Associate within the PayPal Consumer Marketing organization, you will have a significant impact on PayPal's ability to share our core mission and value propositions to consumers. Performance Marketing Associates work to better understand our customers and their needs, identify where PayPal products can help solve their needs, and build marketing campaigns that share this message. Performance Marketing Associates come with sharp analytical skills, a passion for working in a highly collaborative and values-driven environment, and a track record of successfully building, launching, and managing effective marketing campaigns.
The Xoom Digital Paid Media team's primary KPI's are to drive net new active users, recapture churned users, increase consumer transactions, and drive consumer margin revenue growth for the Xoom brand. The team manages digital campaigns and media mix in collaboration with our Finance, Analytics, MarTech, Legal, Creative, Integrated Marketing, Commercial, Product, and Media Agency partners.
What You'll Do As a PayPal Paid Media Marketing Associate on the Xoom brand, you will:
Effectively identify, manage, execute, and report on new areas of growth across the paid media marketing funnel, including partnering with merchants, affiliates, or other third parties that unlocks new areas of growth
Own paid media marketing day-to-day results with an ROI focused approach across various digital channels
Manage paid media agency day-to-day operations in support of top priority Marketing initiatives
Identify new ways to drive simplicity and effectiveness in day-to-day operations across the entire Marketing operation within an agile working model
Collaborate with creative teams and agencies to ensure top quality and on-time creative delivery, execution, and iterative testing cadence
Leverage a data-driven approach to analyze and drive campaign optimizations alongside Analytics, Business Intelligence, and MarTech teams
Support Commercial leads in business casing and executing high growth strategies and strategically incorporating Product innovations
Partner with Privacy, Risk, and Legal to source and evaluate external opportunities and bring them into the Xoom portfolio
Drive product enhancement such as landing page optimizations and streamline user-experience flows that ultimately lead to higher conversion rates
Champion and challenge changes to operational efficiencies and work cross-functionally with teams to streamline or build various internal workflows
About You 5-7+ years of experience scaling and managing Paid Search, Paid Social, and other Digital Marketing channels
Familiarity with managing and scaling linear TV, OOH, and other traditional paid media programs
Experience managing working on or managing a paid media agency team
Operate autonomously to delivery results and self-starter who naturally becomes a resourceful addition to the team
Naturally curious and dive-head-first learner, able to navigate the discomfort of learning new channels and technologies by relying on frameworks and simplicity
A highly effective project manager who can balance prioritizing numerous tasks and stakeholders at once
Experience working cross-functionally with Legal, Risk, Compliance, MarTech, Analytics, Creative, and Product teams with excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communications skills
Strongly resonate and aim to manifest our company-wide leadership principles in all work and interactions: Work Customer Back, Win Together, and Put People First
Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and ad platforms
Familiar with SQL, Tableau and other Business Insight tools
Preferred: knowledgeable about the international remittance space and how to effectively market and communicate to internationally-minded consumers. Multilingual (preferably Spanish) is also preferred.
Preferred: Experience constructing and successfully communicating business cases to explain and sell new and existing opportunities to stakeholders
Preferred: Experience managing and collaborating with media agencies and ad platform partners
