National Oilwell Varco is seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our team in San Jose, California. As a part-time Associate Level position, the Marketing Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the Marketing department in various activities to promote our products and services effectively.
Responsibilities:- Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote products and services- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities- Assist in creating marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, and social media content- Coordinate and attend marketing events, trade shows, and conferences- Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and provide reports to management- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment in marketing efforts- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in marketing
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field- At least 4 years of experience in a marketing role- Strong written and verbal communication skills- Driven and adaptable personality traits- Decision-making and innovation soft skills- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and marketing tools/software- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
