JOB TITLE: MARKETING ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT JOB LOCATION: OREM, UT
REPORTING TO: MARKETING MANAGER
FUNCTION: The full-time Marketing Administrative Assistant performs various administrative and clerical duties, particularly specializing in the development and procurement of customized promotional apparel and hardgoods, including the management of multiple company stores. Additional office support to the wider Marketing team may also be required.
KEY ACTIVITIES: Manage five internal company stores. Keep on top of trends, ideas and new promotional products. Responsible for coordination of custom orders. Maintain inventory and manage merchandise invoicing; Develop and manage relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, customers and vendors. Create reports, analysis, statistics and presentations as needed; Perform general clerical duties to include, but not limited to, invoicing, answering phone calls, copying, mailing, and filing. Draft letters and official communications, prepare reports, keep records, and systematically file documents and information; Manage event assets. Maintain resources and equipment, tracking use for company events and other marketing initiatives; Provide additional support to the marketing department and help with any other requests or needs as circumstances require; Adhere to company policies and procedures as outlined in the employee handbook, etc. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks with strong attention to detail; Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; Professional attitude, courteous, respectful and tactful; Strong drive and desire to proactively reach out and connect with stakeholders; Able to be a high performer with little management oversight; Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Resourceful on demand. Able to react well under pressure; Polished written and verbal communication skills. Work collaboratively with the marketing team. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED; 1-2 years of relevant experience in retail, apparel and/or administrative duties; Possesses a valid driver's license; Working knowledge of digital retail management systems (such as Shopify, etc.) preferred, including a basic understanding of backend infrastructure, product development and warehouse distribution; Working knowledge of the custom order production process as well as supply chain; Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, (Adobe Creative Suite an added benefit); Working knowledge of basic team project management (software such as Asana is a plus). PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Medium: including moving up to 50 lbs. occasionally; Inside climate-controlled offices, with occasional work in warehouse conditions of varied temperatures; Ability to crouch, lift, swivel and stand for extended periods of time; Repetitive motion associated with operating various types of office equipment; Occasional automotive travel to events and work locations.
