Description: This role is looking at assemblies and weldments from a BOM and comparing it to what is current in place for that product/part. Verification is needed. Then loading rates, documents, working with those on the plant floor, etc. This role is working with all mechanical assembly and mechanical metal fabrication parts. You will be looking at Solidworks drawings- with basic dimensions, weldments, etc. Estimate times for fabrication, painting and assembly of components and assemblies. Evaluate product BOM's and route components to the correct work station. Create routes for new components and assemblies by estimating fabrication, welding, painting and assembly times. Print drawings and BOM's for assembly and fabrication as required. Updates Bill of Materials (BOMs) as required. May attend frequent meetings, including production and engineering. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Need to be savvy with Excel and have worked with previous ERP systems. JD Edwards is their ERP System.
