Jacuzzi Group, a leading manufacturer of hot tubs, swim spas, baths, showers, saunas, and pool equipment, is seeking a passionate & driven Production Manager to lead our newest manufacturing plant. With their headquarters in California and operations all over the world, Jacuzzi Group has been providing innovative wellness solutions for over 65 years. The Production Manager is responsible for managing the daily production operations of the Glendale, AZ plant and activities. * Bilingual candidates (or strong conversational Spanish skills) strongly preferred.* KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Leading a lean culture environment through six sigma processes and toolsets Supervising & leading all production operations, employees and schedules. Planning, scheduling, and coordinating departmental activities to fulfill sales orders, meet inventory requirements, and deliver manufactured products in a timely fashion. Maintaining high standards of manufacturing operations to ensure that products conform to established customer and company quality standards. Responsible for driving a safety-minded culture and ensuring a safe work environment. Ensuring compliance with company standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, OSHA, safety, and complete and on-time delivery. Requirements Experience required :
5+ years Manufacturing experience required Experience with automation is mandatory Exposure to all manufacturing equipment Experience with any sort of forming Cold Forming Vacuum Forming Thermoforming experience highly desired (but not required) 5+ years manufacturing management experience preferred Knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources Inventory management skills Degree/Certifications/Languages: Bachelors degree preferred Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean Certification is preferred; knowledge and experience is required Bilingual (Conversational Spanish) highly preferred Culture Fit/Personality Traits: The ideal candidate will posses: Ability to effectively relate and communicate with all levels of employees and outside entities.
