Full Time / Direct Hire: $80,000 to $110,000 Annually + Benefits
SUMMARY
Responsible for process capability, cost reduction and continuous improvement project implementation within their designated manufacturing unit . Provides specific engineering work related to field of expertise with broad overlap between engineering disciplines expected. Support capacity planning and growth, as well as define budgeted rates and process documentation. Ensures compliance with company quality systems, policies, procedures and best practices, and all local, state, federal and company safety regulations, policies and procedures. Regular, punctual attendance is an essential job function. Ability to read and write and converse in English. Willing and able to uphold corporate Values.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Implements and sustains work process for the manufacturing cell.
Identifies critical equipment setting and creation of standards.
Creates technical knowledge for the manufacturing cell and transfers the knowledge to the operator and technical associates.
Coaches associates on continuous improvement methodologies within the manufacturing cell.
Understands top losses within the manufacturing unit and develops and implements plans to eliminate losses and drive OEE performance.
Responsible for manufacturing cell change control including validation activities, root cause analysis of prioritized OEE losses, and quality events and deviations.
Other duties as required to support the needs of the business. Education and Experience: Minimum
EDUCATION
BA/BS Degree: Preferred - Engineering, Mechanical Engineering preferred
In lieu of Bachelors Degree, 5 years technical or manufacturing experience required
