Maintenance SUMMARY Outstanding opportunity for a knowledgeable and professional maintenance person to join a leading manufacturing company. This is a "hands on/working" position that will be responsible for the evaluation and execution of the maintenance processes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES A skilled technician in the following areas - Electrical, Mechanical, Building Maintenance and Fleet Maintenance. Perform electrical, electronic, and mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on complex material handling systems. Maintains records to ensure accountability of time, parts, and repairs to meet regulatory compliance. Perform maintenance, troubleshoot and repair of 480V 3 phase electrical control circuits, motor control circuits, Device Control circuits, PC and PLC control systems, and HVAC systems. Perform maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair of facility systems including energy management systems, fire control systems, alarm systems, 2-way radio systems, and dock door systems. Perform maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair on a fleet of lift trucks including, sit down, reach trucks, electric pallet jack, and various other vehicles used.
Experience with Single phase and 3-phase low and high-volt industrial electrical systems and motor controls, experience with PLC/Control systems, experience in plant & industrial maintenance. The ability to work independently in a team environment with a customer/guest focus. Ability to be certified to operate power equipment, operate maintenance tools, saws, drills, etc., work from blueprints/sketches Use safe lifting techniques; lift and carry necessary materials and equipment. QUALIFICATIONS Two to three years (minimum) maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Requires strong preventive maintenance skills, good interpersonal skills in a fast-paced environment and resolving issues. Must have a strong sense of urgency and a proactive attitude. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of skilled trade in a manufacturing environment and equipment reliability, and improvement through predictive and preventive maintenance.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE One year certificate from college or technical school; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Top of Form
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, written work instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form, this includes shop orders, assembly manuals or other written or verbal instructions.
