Manufacturing Engineer – Materials Engineering. Keysight Technologies has been unlocking electronic measurement insights for 75 years. The Precision Meso-scale Technology Center (PMTC), located on Keysight's campus in Santa Rosa, CA exists to provide high-precision mechanical solutions that enable the capabilities of Keysight's industry-leading electronic measurement equipment.
As a manufacturing engineer, you will develop and sustain manufacturing processes utilizing cutting-edge technologies to achieve micron-level tolerances in precision hermetic package assemblies and transfer molding operations. Working closely with R&D on microwave and mm-wave applications, you will influence and create designs for mechanical components and assemblies, facilitating their release and supporting ongoing production. Your duties may also include, investigating the latest microcircuit packaging technology, process tooling design, providing design for manufacturing input on new products, troubleshooting process issues, Root cause analysis, Documentation creation, and maintenance.
Bachelor's or master's degree in Materials Science, Materials Engineering, or applicable sciences, 2-5+ years of applicable experience in precision assembly, manufacturing, and design (part design, tool design, and/or process development). This role requires a combination of technical knowledge, engineering theory and a hands-on approach to manufacturing.
Desired: Fundamental knowledge of material properties Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Working knowledge of thermal processing technology Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in and/or lead diverse cross-functional teams Strong mechanical aptitude Excellent organizational and project management skills, Ability to prioritize day-to-day activities balancing immediate needs with long-term project goals Solid modeling experience (preferably in Siemens NX CAD) Familiarity with RF, microwave, and mm-wave applications Experience with mechanical electronic products Experience in process improvement Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other quality tools #LI-CS1

California Pay Range: Min$95,050 to Max$155,080
Based on experience, education and skills, most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed above.
Note : For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region
