In the 2024-25 school year, the KIPP Jacksonville region will be comprised of four schools educating more than 3,000 students, kindergarten through twelfth grade in the North and West sides of Jacksonville, Florida.
KIPP Impact Academy: Kindergarten - 4th grade, 6th - 8th grade
KIPP VOICE Academy: Kindergarten - 8th grade
KIPP Bessie Coleman Academy: Kindergarten - 8th grade
KIPP Bold City High School: 9th - 12th grade
For the current school year, teachers at KIPP Jacksonville Public Schools work the following hours Monday through Friday and may have occasional meetings or special school events outside of these hours. Hours for teachers and students may vary slightly by school.
K-8 Staff: 7:30am - 4:30pm K-8 Students : 8:00am - 3:30pm, Wednesday K-8 dismissal is at 1:30pm
High School Staff: 6:45am - 3:45pm, High School Students: 7:15am - 2:30pm, Wednesday High School dismissal is at 12:30pm.
Every Wednesday is a student early release day, which allows teachers to participate in weekly professional development and content team meetings. *This doesn't include Wellness Wednesdays when all staff leave at student dismissal.

Job Description
The Manager of Student Recruitment and Enrollment (MSRE) is responsible for developing and executing annual student recruitment plans that ensure KIPP Jacksonville Public Schools' enrollment goals are met for all schools and ensuring students/families have an excellent onboarding experience. The MSRE will work closely with the Regional Director of Operations to evaluate current student recruitment strategies and create an innovative plan of action unique to our community. This role is ideal for someone with strong project management skills, excellent communication skills, and local community outreach experience.
This role will focus primarily on the following areas:
(1) Sourcing of potential students/families, outreach, and coordinating logistics for outreach events to ensure student recruitment targets are met in each grade level
(2) Communicating with families to help support an easy enrollment process and ensuring
targets are met
(3) Keeping meticulous records and pulling data to answer mission-critical questions
You will be successful in this role if you set and meet student recruitment/enrollment targets each year. The organization has an aggressive growth plan to increase our impact in Jacksonville. Success will also be measured by maintaining high satisfaction rates from families and keeping data updated. This role is dependent on the ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
The MSRE is a full-time role on the Shared Services team, which currently oversees four schools and is actively planning for growth in future school years. As a member of the Shared Services team, this individual would be responsible for doing whatever it takes to ensure that students develop the knowledge, skills, and character strengths they need to succeed throughout their education and in the competitive world beyond.
This position is year-round and performs duties as assigned by their manager. Typical hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. but vary for this role based on the season. Some travel to community events during/after normal business hours would be required.


SPECIFIC DUTIES
Enrollment Strategy Support : Implement comprehensive plans for student recruitment and enrollment, including effective plan communication to key stakeholders and progress monitoring to ensure timely implementation. Guidance to Teams : Provide guidance to school-based enrollment teams, regional leaders, and enrollment and recruitment support staff in the implementation of strategies to meet enrollment targets. Data Analysis and Reporting : Track and analyze recruitment and enrollment data, using SchoolMint to drive recommendations and guidance for the adaptation of strategies so that KIPP Jax reaches its student enrollment goals for every school. Recruitment and Marketing Strategy Development : Research recruitment strategies and contribute to the development of KIPP Jax's current student recruitment plan, including developing marketing and communication campaigns to recruit students in collaboration with the communications team. Provide content for social media that is engaging and gets families excited about KIPP. Ensure all marketing materials are consistent and aligned to the KIPP Jax brand and messaging. Recruitment Strategy Implementation : Drive the implementation of recruitment strategies, including organizing campaigns such as new family open houses, mailers, phone calls, or canvassing in the community. Communicate with prospective families to engage them in KIPP's mission. Ensure that KIPP Jax has enough student applications at every school for the operations team to convert and enroll successfully. System and Process Management: Manage and implement backend systems to help lead innovative recruitment efforts. Lead Cultivation : Design and execute strategies to cultivate leads, including planning and attending local events to reach prospective families; ensure a comprehensive plan for coverage and clear directions to stakeholders for any events that cannot be attended; and guide potentially interested families from initial inquiry through the submitted application. Applicant Engagement : Routinely contact prospective and newly accepted families, keeping them informed and excited about KIPP through various communication channels, including phone calls, school tours, and newsletters. Community Engagement : Develop partnerships with current and prospective student pipelines (community organizations, daycares, schools, etc.) and present to groups about KIPP Jax. Network and build relationships with existing families and staff to recruit friends and family members in order to access their local networks to support recruitment goals. Collaborate with KIPP family engagement staff around identifying ways to reach more families. Other duties as required.
COMPENSATION

Qualifications Bachelor's degree Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in the education or non-profit setting Track record of producing exceptional results Willingness to have a flexible schedule with some evening and weekend hours Exemplary written and verbal communication, organizational, and project management skills (i.e. speaking to groups and designing a scope and sequence of written communications to a group) Experience with indirect management. This role doesn't manage others but must influence and collaborate with others to meet deadlines.
