The Manager of Career Programming will oversee comprehensive career pathway programming for Uplift scholars in high-demand career fields such as healthcare, information technology, and education. Working closely with the Sr. Director of Career Pathways and Programs and Uplift Road to College and Career (RTCC), the Manager will support, develop, and execute the implementation of robust career programming and engaging learning experiences that advance the needs of Uplift scholars, strategic career partners, and external donors. Duties/Responsibilities: Core Responsibilities Program Management : Manage partnership programming and career initiatives on behalf of Uplift Career Pathways and Programs, particularly as it relates to Bloomberg Philanthropies Career Technology Education (CTE) Initiative and partnership with Baylor, Scott, and White Health (BSWH) Stakeholder Management : Coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure collaborative design and execution of project plans Monitoring and Program Evaluation : Maintain effective tracking and resource management systems to effectively communicate and report on progress and evaluate impact Day-to-Day Activities In partnership with industry and postsecondary partners, develop and oversee a variety of scholar career exposure activities, experiences, and opportunities Work in conjunction with other Uplift and RTCC members to support broader organizational initiatives through event planning, meeting facilitation, and participating in various committees. Establish and maintain effective relations that lead to a program defined by high levels of efficacy and cross-functional collaboration with internal and external partners Minimize exposure and risk on projects through proactive, thoughtful analysis of any potential challenges or roadblocks Resolve and/or escalate project-related problems in a timely fashion and make constructive suggestions for change; communicate difficult or sensitive information tactfully Impact on the Organization Support broader Uplift and RTCC organizational goals through creating robust career exposure and preparation opportunities to ensure Uplift scholars are on track towards college and economically viable careers Ensure Uplift organization meets donor key performance metrics with regard to Bloomberg Philanthropies grant agreement. Education, Experience, and/or Certification(s) Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree (B.A. / B.S.) from an accredited four-year university preferred; Relevant work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement. Experience Requirements: Proven experience with program management, project management, and/or event planning required. Prior experience working with teenagers and young adults in public education or workforce development a plus. Special Skills/Certifications: People skills, adaptability, critical thinking, growth mindset, collaboration, creativity, timeliness, resourcefulness Required Skills/Abilities: Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal oral and written communication skills; ability to adjust style and modality to communicate effectively and professionally with diverse audiences at multiple levels Bilingual Skills: Proficiency in Spanish is a plus, but not required Organizational skills: Excellent time management, planning, organization, and logistics skills. Technology: Able to use Microsoft and G-Suite and any program related technology with a high level of proficiency (ie. Canva, Asana, Qualtrics) Physical Demands:

Work at a desk and computer screen for extended periods of time. Work Environment:
Majority of work done in office, but occasional travel to Uplift campuses or partner institutions needed; Preparation and attendance at career events or programs require occasional prolonged or irregular hours. Starting Salary: $65,000 Application Procedure:
