Proactively address and resolve employee relations issues, collaborating with HR leadership to develop and implement programs that foster positive workplace relationships. Oversee the administration of personnel compensation and benefits programs, including monitoring leave and disability programs to ensure fairness and compliance. Manage and maintain the organization's drug and alcohol testing program, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations. Collaborate with local management and risk management teams to facilitate return-to-work processes and address corrective action issues related to workplace injuries effectively. Administer and support employment functions ensuring compliance with Affirmative Action initiatives, interview process and managing separation procedures. Bachelors degree in related area or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Knowledge of HR regulations, practices and techniques required. Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) or Human Capital Strategist (HCS) preferred. Five years of Human Resource experience required. Three years of Supervisory experience preferred. Blood services or healthcare related work experience preferred. Vitalant is one of the nation's largest nonprofit blood and biotherapies healthcare organizations, providing hospitals and patients across the U.S. a safe blood supply, specialized laboratory services, transfusion medicine expertise and world-renowned research. We have a network of 115 donation centers across the U.S. and host approximately 60,000 blood drives annually. Vitalant provides blood and special services to patients in more than 900 hospitals across the U.S. where millions of people depend on blood donations from our generous donors.
