You'll learn more about this during the recruitment process.JOB SUMMARY:The Human Resources Manager will work autonomously and be the day-to-day business partner to a leader and team embarking on a transformation of how they design, procure, manufacture, and transport merchandise to all our parks around the world. Change management principles, internal communication strategies, as well as organizational design and development will be key components of this person's responsibility. The HRM will be responsible for providing guidance on employee relations issues, leadership/team member development, annual compensation cycles, and performance management.This role is global, working with team members around the world and in multiple systems (Peoplesoft, SAP, and others) with the use of various tools dependent on employees in those locations.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead workstreams relating to the people aspects of change management including internal communication, stakeholder buy-in, resource needs and cultural impacts.Partner with Sr. Leadership, the OD team, and outside vendors to assess the skills and capabilities of existing team members to understand the magnitude of reskilling needed to meet the needs of the restructured organization. Design and drive training and development programs accordingly.Support team members at all levels to ensure fair and consistent enforcement of policies and practices. Ensures legal compliance and understanding of policies and processes. Investigates employee workplace situations including claims of harassment and employee performance.Guide management in leading the annual employee engagement activities such as TSAT, compensation, career development, talent reviews, performance reviews, etc. Works with leadership to identify and manage the employee impact of company decisions and changes.Acts as a liaison between management and core HR by assisting with programs or communicating information relating to payroll, records, benefits, training, compensation, and talent acquisition.Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.Perform other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities (KSAs) required.Strong communication and presentation skillsAbility to multi-taskKnowledge of the industryResourceful in working with global teamsAbility to navigate multiple systems and toolsEDUCATION:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology or Management is preferred but not required.EXPERIENCE:5+ years Human Resources experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
