Position Purpose The Manager, EHS and Facilities is responsible forestablishing and maintaining a Safety Risk & Security compliantfacility, in addition to providing maintenance and PreventativeMaintenance of the corporate facilities in Oregon. The EHS andFacilities Manager is also responsible to arrange internal office movesand oversee general maintenance of the facilities. The position isresponsible for all Environmental, Health, and Safety compliance and theassociated Risk assessments, plus ensure our facility Securityrequirements are properly implemented, monitored and maintained.Responsibilities Supervises and coordinates overall safety andfacility-related administrative activities for the company in its Oregonlocations, including: \' Develops, and establishes a compliantEnvironmental, Health, and Safety program that capitalizes on bestbusiness practices. \' Develops and manages facilities and EHS budget,working with finance, accounting and the talent development leadership.\' Provides leadership, direction and day-to-day management to smallteam. Makes staffing recommendations (for temporary and regularresources) and manages employee performance. \' Negotiates the purchaseof facilities supplies, furniture, office equipment, etc. for the entirestaff in accordance with company purchasing policies and budgetaryguidelines. \' Informs management of facility\'s status by preparingperiodic building reports. \' Coordinating with government entities tomeet the Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements. \' Supervisesthe maintenance and alteration of office areas and equipment as well aslayout, arrangement and housekeeping of general office facilities, breakareas, etc. including day-to-day operations (i.e. recycling, changinglight bulbs, heat problems, water problems, etc.). \' Manages buildingand facilities issues including repair and maintenance service providercontracts and service legal agreements. \' Coordinates buildingenhancements and renovations by evaluating facility needs, obtainingconstruction bids, and overseeing work performed by staff, vendors andcontractors. \' Ensures facility Security requirements are maintained bymanaging, executing, and coordinating all general office controls andmaintenance (i.e. security system and badge access/deactivation, visitorlog audits, parking space audits, etc.) in coordination with theappropriate departments. \' Other miscellaneous related Safety,Facility, Security & Risk duties, as assigned. Ensures all facility andEHS related compliance programs are implemented and executed, including:\' Develops the risk management process, including documenting,reviewing and updating safety programs and protocols on a regular basis;contributes in the preparation of internal risk reports. \' Monitorssecurity systems and compliance. Develops, delivers, maintains andmonitors security controls to align with best practices, policies andstandards. \' Serves as the facility emergency response coordinator,including facilitating, implementing and executing evacuation plans,disaster response plans, safety training and programs, building-relatedinspection programs and maintenance, reporting floor plans, recy
